STRIDES is part of the New Sandfields Aberavon Sustainable Regeneration trust that helps economically inactive people progress into employment or further education by using a multi agency approach to enable a tailored progression route for individuals. By using workshops as simulated real working environments STRIDES engage with people referred through other agencies or direct links with the community and allow people time to develop confidence and motivation to begin a journey of progression from economic inactivity to employment or further education.
